While I’m new to the publishing world, I am not new to writing. Even before I knew how to construct a story, as a child I enjoyed copying the words from my favorite books down in my tablet (the kind for writing, not typing). Words have always played a lucrative role in my life. As much time as I spent sitting on the floor of my local library reading a pile of books, I didn’t imagine that one day I would be writing my own. It wasn’t until my father told me God revealed to him I was going to be a writer that I fully started walking in that calling.
“If you do not breathe through writing, if you do not cry out in writing, or sing in writing, then don’t write, because our culture has no use for it.” –Anaïs Nin
Years later, I am finally a published author and working on writing compelling stories that I pray will change the way we see ourselves, the way we see each other, and the way we see the world.
Our story together is just beginning.
